Adel and Nadia Badawi came to this country in 1960 and opened their first restaurant  called Badawi's Oasis. Soon after, Nadia became a mother of four and Adel went to work for GM.

Since then they have successfully owned and operated other restaurants and catering companies. When the old restaurant known as Carmelo's became available, it was a great opportunity to combine two great cultures, Lebanese and Italian, to offer world famous foods. 

All our foods are authentic receipes from years of family history. We go the extra mile as far as service and quality. Family-owned and operated, the Badawi's have been Lansing natives for over 40 years and bring the best of both cultures to the public in a remarkable and enjoyable atmosphere to eat and drink.
